Mother's day

Happy Mother's Day to all women young and old, married or single, biological or otherwise. We are all mothers. We mother our children, our lovers, our friends. We are mothered by the women who love us. I am mothered by my Mum, my sisters (even Amy), my Aunts, Grandmother and girlfriends. I love all women and I love to be a woman.

My Mum taught me to be feminine, strong, patient, independant and funny. Most importantly she taught me the importance of family.
Thank you Mum.

love it. I love shelley's glasses. Derick and I spoke in church yesterday about how our mother's have prepared us to be married in the temple. Derick's parents were there too. Everyone was crying. Then I had the primary children sing "I Often Go Walking" and give all the mother's flowers. Everyone cried again. Happy Mother's Day to you.
lots of love

Let me just say that I think Poppy is the cutest name ever! I really wanted to name Simone something creative and unique, but Simone just stuck. I was really into the name Tallulah, but my last name is LeDoux. So, she would be Tallulah LeDoux-a mouthful of "la's". Anyway, I love reading your blog. You have such a gorgeous little family! keep posting!

I haven't thought about that lately, but it's so true: I love being a woman. It's a great society to be associated with! And how was singapore?? Photos???

dee when you were a little girl you looked just like the holly hobby character - so cute. i love how only the one sock is rolled down...and the unsure look on brenton's face! was this taken up in alice springs? love the caravans in the back - can't believe we live in one of those things for a year.

Wow Sharry attention to detail. Yes that was our holiday to Alice. And I can't believe you lived in a caravan for a year. Do give your children the "Luxury, luxury. When I was a lass..." talk every now and then?

Oh Dee...do you know how much I love your mum and miss her so much. She is so feminine and such a great teacher, so kind and generous. She always did have beautiful hair that was thick and straight and mine was so curley and I was wishing I had hers all the time. Give her my love please.....miss you so....di
